Title: Rain
I close my eyes
and meditate
the rain starts.
I tip my face towards the sky
the rain lightly kisses my lips,
my neck,
my hands.
I shiver as the droplets numb my skin
they shine like crystals in my auburn hair.
The rain quickens.
I slip under my porch
and slumber there, as
the rain sings me a lullaby on the roof.
